My name is Abdullah, a senior at Marquette University pursuing a double major in Human Resources and Marketing! I’m passionate about learning how to leverage technology for social media content creation and streamlining human resources processes. I strive to develop my project management and organization skills as I share my personal college experience to grow this website.

​Currently, I am the secretary of Marquette’s Society for Human Resource Management, where I record executive board meeting minutes and coordinate its social media accounts to present our organization's activities through engaging graphic designs to boost club awareness. My academic journey has equipped me with skills in social media management, communication and problem-solving, and I enjoy applying these in real-world projects.

 

I believe in developing a global mindset, obtaining strong work-life balance and striving for lifelong learning. My goal is to pursue a career in human resources, specializing in training & development.

 

Outside of academics and professional work, I enjoy exercising, photography, learning about the SWANA region and visiting coffee shops. Originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, United States, I love exploring various world cultures and staying engaged with emerging trends in human resources and marketing.
